Our mission is simple - to raise funds and recruit volunteers in support of programs and projects at Goose Creek State Park, while promoting public awareness of this incredible natural resource. We rely on generous donations, the sale of campfire wood at the park, and a passionate community of outdoor enthusiasts to help us carry out this mission and enhance the park experience for all.

Purchase Campfire Wood

from “The Friends”

The Friends of Goose Creek State Park sells bundled campfire wood at the park. Make your stay warm and cozy by adding a few bundles to your weekend and enjoy the glow of a crackling fire under the stars. Your purchase does more than create great memories— the proceeds support park programs and improvements.

Friends campfire wood is park approved! All firewood used in the park must be locally sourced or heat treated to kill any insects or diseases. This keeps our park safe from invaders! Friends campfire wood is USDA certified to be pest and disease free.

The Small Business Friend affiliation offers businesses with up to 25 employees an affordable way to support the park while demonstrating a strong commitment to the local community and the outdoors.
